While the new LinkedIn apps are cool (and getting better as they eliminate bugs), I am in love with the Corporate profiles. The profiles, launched last March, are a treasure trove of intelligence about public and private companies. For recruiters researching target companies, LinkedIn now offers information not available from any other source. Most of the information is anecdotal; LinkedIn does not caputre data from all employees, after all. But it goes a long way toward understanding movement in your local talent market, and the comings and goings at target companies.
